I was ordering the Blond Mask (which I love, by the way) and thought I would try one of their shampoos as well. I’ve never in my life paid $65 for shampoo, but the “luxury” shampoo sounded glorious to me. However, nothing about this shampoo is luxurious. The consistency is watery— like that of a cheap hotel shampoo. No matter how much I rub the shampoo between my hands, I cannot get it to lather. The scent is neither here nor there— it’s pretty bland. And worst of all, this shampoo doesn’t even seem to get my hair clean (even after a double cleanse. I even tried starting my first cleanse with a detox shampoo). With other brands of shampoo, my hair can go at least four days before it gets greasy. But with this Mr. Smith “luxury” Shampoo my hair feels Greasy from day one. I don’t think I’ve ever left a product review in my life. But learn from my mistake and stick with the Mr. Smith toning masks.

My husband and I both have been thrilled with discovering this amazing shampoo.. conditioner and mask. We have different hair types . His is thick and mine is thinner.. both great results.
Thank you for your review Guillaume. We are so thrilled to hear that you and your husband both love our Luxury Shampoo.
It’s nice, but I don’t love it. My hair feels good after, good volume but I’m not convinced I would keep using it for the price.
The product is 10/10. The luxury shampoo is the best shampoo I’ve tried and I hope to be able to keep using it. The packaging and lack of accessibility isn’t ideal. It feels like every brand-new bottle pump doesn’t open easily and I feel like the square shaped bottle makes it hard to get the last bit of product. It’s already so expensive that these factors are frustrating. It used to be available for purchase at my salon but the salon no longer carries it. I can only purchase online at the moment. Would love to see their products in Blue Mercury or a department store.
